Play together
Press Esc, type a room code and press Join. Everybody who types the same code is in the same yard, from any browser, with nothing to install and no server in the middle: once the room has introduced you, every packet goes straight from one browser to another. Leave the code empty and it makes one up for you to pass round. A link works too: tinfold.xyz/play/sandbox?room=yourcode.
The first player in a room runs the world, and everybody else asks it for what they want: a prop, a weld, a click of the tool gun. Your own body is always yours, so walking and rocket jumps answer at once. If the player running the world leaves, the next one takes it over and nothing is lost.
What it shows
Everything you can spawn is a node with parts on it, and every tool asks for parts, never for kinds of thing. That is why a balloon can lift a barrel you have made explosive and welded to a hovering slab, with none of the three knowing about the others.
The crates, the glass, the pots and the melon are one mesh each until something hits them hard enough, and then they come apart through the engine’s fracture, finer where they were hit. The ragdoll is a prop for every limb, so you can drag it by an arm or tie a balloon to its wrist, and the tarp under the gantry is cloth.
All the models and icons were built in code.
