What it shows
A demo about how things look. A spell is built out of everything the engine can draw: the ball of energy is a mesh with a shader of its own, churning with noise sampled through more noise; the trail is a ribbon rebuilt every frame from the last fraction of a second of its path; sparks, wisps and embers are particles stirred by curl noise, soft where they meet the ground. The spell’s own light lights the stones and scatters in the night air.
A tap throws a spark; held for a second and a half it is a blast. The crystals over the pedestals shatter when a spell reaches them, lie in pieces, and fly back together.
